Analysis of Data and Information to Support Georgia's Local Planning Requirements

The Data and Maps for Planning provides quick and easy access to demographic and geographic data.  This includes data tables, charts, graphs and maps to help you visualize the data and better understand the demographic trends in your community.  This reporting tool will also provide much of the data and information needed for your Plan Assessment as specified by the Local Planning Requirements.

Follow these three steps to create your Data and Maps for Planning:: 

Step 1. Select your data. The Data Tables and Chart items are listed at the top of the selection page.  You can select one item, several, by groups (population, economic or housing) or 'Check if you want to report on all data items.'

Step 2. Select your maps.  Select one map, several maps, or 'Check if you want to report all Map items.'

Step 3. Select your community.  Pick a county or city.  Select  'View PDF' or 'View HTML' format.  The 'View PDF' option provides a nicer layout for viewing on screen or printing. The 'View HTML' option provides an 'Export' function into several other formats; you can also use your mouse button to select, copy and paste into word processing and other document formats for customization and analysis.
